Arsine Khayoyan was born in Montreal, Canada and grew up in Los Angeles. As the oldest daughter of
immigrant parents who escaped from communist regimes in the Soviet Union, Arsine was determined to
follow her own path. She excelled in both her educational studies and sports growing up. Arsine received
an undergraduate degree in Economics from UCLA. She received a double Ph.D. in Economics and
Public Policy, graduating at the top of her class in highly male-dominated field. Professionally, Arsine
has worked as a Forensic Economist since 2010. She is currently a partner and Senior Economist at K2
Economics. As a co-founder of RefRatings, Arsine is actively involved in app design, user experience,
and research. Non-professionally, Arsine also played the violin for 17 years and has performed concerts at
various venues growing up. Arsine enjoys traveling and adventure. She has gone skydiving, completed a
marathon, and 2 triathlons. Arsine has also been actively involved in her community, serving as a
counselor for the Armenian Youth Federation for 12 years.
